Stefan Betke、（pole）はデュッセルドルフで生まれ育ち、同地で様々なバンドのプロジェクトにキーボードとシンセサイザーとして参加する。３部作"1", "2", "3" を作り始めたのは、彼がケルンにいたころ。彼は3部作をベルリンで終え、Poleとして1998年から2000年にかけてリリースした。1999年に、Stefan BetkeとBarbara Preisingerはレーベル、scapeを起動。Daniel MillerによるMuteレーベルより2枚の12インチリリース後、scapeより2007年に、"Steingarten"をリリースし、世界中―UK、日本、ヨーロッパにて、フェス、クラブに支持される。2008年と2009年には"Round Black Ghosts"コンピレーションをリリースし、とても高い評価を得た。また、同時期、Stefan BetkeはミンスクでUnsoundフェスティバルの"Connections"を共催する。 大学やフェスティバルのワークショップで音楽の知識を広めるなど、音楽制作の幅を広げる中、Stefanは－Richie Hawtin, Daniel Bell, Norm Telly, Scott Furgeson, Delano Smith, Josh T. Pearson, Erasure, Apparat, Grinderman, Gudrun Gut, Thomas Fehlmann, The Mole Mathew Jonson などの著名なプロデューサーや、Mute, Third Ear, Minus, Wagon Repair, Leafなどといった様々なレーベルのマスタリングを手掛ける。2009年からは、Neumann VMS 70カッティングマシンを手に入れ、レコードのマスタリングも行うようになる。 最近では、ロンドンのFabric、ベルリンのWatergate、ニューヨークのThe Bunkerなどのクラブ、またIsle of WightのBestival、UKのBloc FestivalやモントリオールのMutekなどのフェスティバルなどで活躍する。2011年下半期、また2012年上半期には12インチのシリーズを予定しており、2011年10月に彼自身の新しいレーベル、"pole"より3トラックEPを出し、シリーズが始動する予定となっており、また、彼のバックカタログも全てデジタル化して提供される予定だ。これらのリリースはpoleの新しいサウンドヴィジョンとpoleがいつまでも知られ、尊敬されるエレクトロニッククラブミュージック、アーバン・ダブ、アバンガードの間をさまよう過去の作品を再びつなぐこととなるだろう。

Stefan Betke aka pole was born and raised in Düsseldorf, where he played keyboards and synthesizer in different band projects. It was in Cologne that Betke began work on his acclaimed and influential trilogy "1", "2" and "3", completing it in Berlin after moving there in 1996. He released the trilogy as pole between 1998 and 2000. In 1999, Stefan Betke and Barbara Preisinger started their label ˜scape. After releasing two 12 inches and an album on Daniel Miller's famous Mute label, his well respected solo album "Steingarten" came out on ˜scape in 2007, supported by worldwide concerts at festivals and in clubs in UK, Japan, USA and Europe. While Stefan Betke was continuing to play live shows around the globe as well as produce electronic music and remix artists, he and Barbara were still running the label ˜scape on which the critically acclaimed "Round Black Ghosts" compilations were released in 2008 and 2009. At the same time, Stefan Betke co-organized Unsound Festival's "Connections" project in Minsk. Since then, Stefan Betke has been asked regularly to share his knowledge with students and musicians/producers in workshops at festivals and universities. While Stefan Betke was expanding his musical output, he still was doing mastering for renowned producers such as Richie Hawtin, Daniel Bell, Norm Telly, Scott Furgeson, Delano Smith, Josh T. Pearson, Erasure, Apparat, Grinderman, Gudrun Gut, Thomas Fehlmann, The Mole, Mathew Jonson and various labels such as Mute, Third Ear, Minus, Wagon Repair, Leaf and many more. In 2009, Stefan Betke bought a Neumann VMS 70 cutting lathe to again offer vinyl mastering for producers in club and electronic music. Recently, pole´s live sets developed into a funky and grooving dance floor direction presented in clubs like Fabric/London, Watergate/Berlin and The Bunker/New York CIty, as well as festivals like Bestival/Isle of White, Bloc Festival/UK and Mutek/Montreal, while maintaining the pole sound design and creativity for his record releases. A series of 12" is planned for the 2nd half of 2011 and 1st half of 2012, beginning with a 3 track ep on his new artist label "pole" in October 2011, and a digital re issue of his full back cataloque. These forthcoming releases will reconnect pole's latest sound visions with his earlier work on the edge between electronic club music, urban dub and avantgarde, the sound for which pole was always well known and respected!

ロンドンで育ったJoeはプロダクションへまわる前はドラマー、そしてパーカッショニストとして活躍をした。2005年にダブステップと出会ったJoe。それから、彼のエレクトロダンスミュージックへの思いが一転し、クラブFWD>>の常連となっていく。Venueの一つ、Plastic People、彼らのサウンドシステムや彼らがサポートするシーンやジャンルと同様すばらしいものだった。Joeはベースを中心とした音楽に強い親近感を持つようになり、2006年には自ら、140bpmを中心にプロデュースし始める。彼の音楽性が広がる中、2008年にはテンポの低下、そして長いＤＪセットに興味がわくようになる。2009年には彼の初めての12インチ、"Grimelight/Rut"がHessel Audioによりリリースされ、その後もシングルやScuba，Untoldのリミックスなどを手掛ける。2010から2011年にかけては、JoeはＤＪへと進化していくが、ＤＪをしながらも、ダンスフロアの楽しみが忘れられない、という。

Growing up in London, Joe was a drummer and percussionist for many years before taking to production. Discovering dubstep in 2005 changed his perceptions of electronic dance music, and would soon lead to regular attendance at the club FWD>>. The venue, Plastic People, and its strong sound system proved to be as influential as the scene and genre it supported. Joe developed a strong affinity for bass-driven music, and started producing in 2006, mostly concentrating on 140bpm. As his musical awareness diversified, 2008 saw a growing interest in lower tempos and longer DJ sets. His first 12" was released on Hessle Audio in 2009 (Grimelight/Rut), and has been followed by further singles, and remixes for Scuba and Untold. 2010-11 have seen Joe move in to DJing, where he hopes he can still keep at least one foot on the dance floor.

Born in Tokyo. Meticulously combining and producing the texture of gritty sounds; BUN is an artist crossing over many genres. He has worked together with Ras G, Dakim, matthewdavid, Flying Lotus and others from California. From providing tracks for a radical internet radio, DUBLAB, some for Mix CD series, "Kutmah Mix", and for other projects, he has had numerous releases from different labels. Domestically, BUN has built his own label which focuses on creativity. From his own label, BUN has 3 releases – bold works with high sense of art.
In 2010, his second album, "Adieu a X" sold out the day it came out. In addition, Bun is active in working as a producer for representative artists in Hip Hop and MCs. With an edgy, revolutionary sense of balance between Rap and Track, he has been building his career. This year, his 3rd album release is scheduled.

15歳でモデルデビュー。NYLON,spring,Voguegirl,数々のファッション誌で現在活躍中のモデル。その他ロックバンド「TERROR FAMILIA」でボーカルを担当し、また作詞も手がけており、音楽活動を日頃から精力的に行っている。
2008年より、DJとしても活動を開始、2009年には、ＭＡＣ付属の音楽ソフトGragebandという音楽ソフトをいじって、ビートを作り出すことに目覚め、ついに彼女の音楽制作がスタートした。彼女の音楽は、バンド活動とは、全く異なるストイックでミニマルなビートを核としたサウンドに仕上がっている。その音は、Ninja　TuneのKid　Koaraをもって「すばらしい耳」と絶賛するほどである。最近では、DJとして、MARC BY MARC JACOBS、swarovski,　Jillstuart、など数々のイベントにてDJとして活動中。
私達は、彼女とは、写真集の仕事で出会い、その後、彼女がDJをやっていると知り、自分達のイベントにDJとして彼女に仕事を依頼した。そこから音楽活動をする彼女を知り、後に、Mac付属のビギナー向けの音楽ソフトだけで作られた彼女のトラックに驚愕し、まったく止まることなく生まれ続けるビートの生産量にさらに驚愕をし、今回、私達のレーベルPowershovelAudioから彼女のファーストアルバムをリリースをする事が決定した。

Modeling since the age of 15, she plays an active role in fashion magazines such as NYLON, spring, Voguegirl, and others today. Chiaki also is a vocalist and writes lyrics for the rock band "TERROR FAMILIA".
Diana began her DJ career in 2008, and by the end of 2009. She was already making her own music after discovering beat-making from playing around with MAC music software, Garageband. Her music is nothing comparable to her rock band, making sound with stoic, minimal beats at its core. Her sound has been recognized by Kid Koala from Ninja Tune, "She has great ears". Recently, she has been a DJ for events for MARC BY MARC JACOBS, Swarovski, Jillstuart, and so on.
We met her through one particular photobook. Later, after finding out about a start of her DJ career, we asked her to DJ for our own event. That is when we found out more about her sound. We were amazed that her tracks were solely made from Mac's beginner music software; and were astonished at the speed and the amount of beats she made one after another. From there, nothing is surprising – her first album release from PowershovelAudio was decided, naturally.

15岁作为模特出道。在NYLON，spring，Voguegirl等各大潮流杂志都可以看到她模特的身影。除此之外，作为摇滚乐团"Terror Familia"的主音并填词的她，正在展开她新的音乐旅程。 从2008年开始做DJ，2009年玩弄着Grageband音乐软件的Chiaki，让她对打击乐产生了兴趣，就此她的音乐生涯开始了。和她的乐队不同，她个人的音乐以与众不同的内敛打击乐为核心，呈现在我们的面前。个人全新的感觉，许多专业人士都赞不绝口。最近，以DJ的身份，活跃在各大潮流品牌的活动中，例如，Marc by Marc Jacobs，swarovski，Jillstuart之类。 我们和她是在拍写真集的时候认识的，之后，慢慢的互相了解，才知道她有在做DJ，所以在我们自己的活动中，也邀请她过来为我们打碟。当然知道她有音乐活动也是在这之后，还记得第一次听她的只用MC附属的音乐软件所制作出来的音乐带的时候，大家的震惊了，被一个一个停不下来的打击乐符，节奏所震惊。在这一系列的碰撞中，也确定了Powershovel Audio唱片公司（我们）为她发行第一张专辑的决定。

自分らのことなんで褒め称えてもシラジラシイのでなんとも紹介しようがないが、我々のVISUALミックスのモットーは過剰であることだ。近年ではとにかく大量のモニターを使い大量のイメージを流すというメンドクサイことにシフトしている。映像と音で、感情を揺さぶりディストーションをかけたいのだ。
コンセプトは「めにみえるものすべて」。

虽然这样的称赞自己会让人觉得有些反感，但是我们的视觉混搭的宣言就是这么的个性张扬。总之，最近一直在使用大量的显示屏去呈现一些数量庞大的视觉印象。虽然很烦人，确实很做起来很麻烦，但是我们就是想要用映像和音乐，释放我们的内心，去纵容我们的音响，就这些罢了。 "你所可以看到的一切所有"正是我们这一次活动的概念主题。
